Hello! My name is Sarah Adams and I am super excited to be starting my sixth year at Bay Springs. This year, I will be teaching 7th grade ELA and Social Studies (all levels). While this is my sixth year at BSMS, this is my thirteenth year teaching overall. Before coming to Bay Springs, I taught 6th grade ELA, Social Studies and Reading in Douglas County.

I was born in Atlanta and grew up in Roswell, Georgia and knew that I wanted to be a teacher at a young age. Throughout my many years in school, I was blessed to have many teachers who inspired me to follow my dreams of becoming a teacher. 

I graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in History from Georgia Southern University in 2010. I continued my education there to get my Master of Arts in Teaching two years later; my focus was middle grades social science education. I am certified to teach middle grades ELA, Reading and Social Studies. I am also Gifted certified.

In my spare time I love to read, write, hike, go to the movies, and spend time with my friends and family. I am looking forward to a great year!
