Hello! My name is Sarah Adams and I am super excited to be starting my fourth year at Bay Springs. This will be my second year teaching 7th grade ELA. My first two years at BSMS, I taught 7th ELA and Social Studies. While this is my fourth year at BSMS, this is my eleventh year teaching overall. Before coming to Bay Springs, I taught 6th grade ELA, Social Studies and Reading in Douglas County.

I was born in Atlanta and grew up in Roswell, Georgia and knew that I wanted to be a teacher at a young age. Throughout my many years in school, I was blessed to have many teachers who inspired me to follow my dreams of becoming a teacher. 

I graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in History from Georgia Southern University in 2010. I continued my education there to get my Master of Arts in Teaching two years later; my focus was middle grades social science education. I am certified to teach middle grades ELA, Reading and Social Studies. I am also Gifted certified.

In my spare time I love to read, write, hike, go to the movies, and spend time with my friends and family. I am looking forward to a great year!
