I was raised near Niagara Falls, NY. After high school, I moved south where I attended and graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science, and a Masters of Education in Information Technology also from the University of West Georgia. After 15 years as a Project Manager and Estimator I decided I needed a change and needed to spend more time with my family. Always drawn toward teaching others, I pursued education. I completed my certification requirements for Education at the University of West Georgia and started my career as an educator. I have taught 6th grade at Bay Springs Middle School since 2003. My teaching duties at Bay Springs have been in Math, Science and Social Studies. I currently teach 6th grade Science and I am also the Athletic Director, and Soccer Coach.
My expectations for my students are for them to come to class prepared to learn with a pencil/pen, composition notebook, paper and folder. They should also respect the speaker whether it be me or another student.
