Hi, my name is Brittany Smith. I am a Villa Rica resident and a graduate of Villa Rica High School. I attended the University of Georgia and Kennesaw State University where I received an undergrad degree in History Education.  I earned a master’s degree in literacy in the content areas from Walden University, and I earned my Specialist degree in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University. Previously, I taught 6th grade in Cobb County and 7th grade at Villa Rica Middle School. I have a wonderful husband, Landon, and 3 girls ( Anniston, Sadie, and Abby).  My oldest daughter attends Villa Rica High School, my middle daughter attends Bay Springs and my youngest daughter attends Ithica Elementary. In my spare time, I enjoy tennis, shopping, gardening, taking our 3 precious puppies on walks, and UGA football. I am also one of the coaches for Bay Springs Football cheerleaders. I am very excited to have the opportunity to come back and teach and coach at the same middle school I attended. I know this will be a great year and I look forward to getting to know all the students and their parents. Go Wildcats!
