Chorus:

Beginning Chorus

Students are taught the basics of music and notation while preparing for the first performance.

6th Cub Singers

Students who have had at least one performance at Bay Springs

7th The CatPack 

Students should have a greater awareness of more complicated elements of music and music theory and have performed multiple concerts.

 

8th Meow Chorus

Students should be preparing for the high school chorus experience. Students should have a greater awareness of more complicated elements of music and music theory and have performed multiple concerts.

 

Guitar and Ukulele

Students will learn guitar or Ukulele based on the level accessed at the beginning of each semester. 

 

Music

Students will be taught about the musical brain, learn about music history, and learn to play as a percussion ensemble.

Biography

Mr. Burnaman received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from the University of West Georgia. He has taught chorus, general music, and guitar for Bay Springs Middle School since 2006. Mr. Burnaman consistently conducts choirs of excellent quality and has prepared singers for All State chorus as well as other various honor choirs. Mr. Burnaman has a passion for coaching singers of all ages and abilities.
