Megan Johnson

Instructional Lead Support Specialist

In my position, I work with teachers and staff in many different aspects. To name a couple, we research new teaching strategies and resources, and we also delve into data to see which students need enrichment or remediation. I am an on-site professional developer who teaches educators how to use proven instructional methods.

A Little About Me

I have been married to my college sweetheart, Bobby, since 2007. We have one son, Jack, who was born in 2013. He is currently in third grade at Ithica Elementary School.

Most of all I enjoy shopping--online or in store! I always look for a bargain. I also like to read, especially mystery books. Recently, I've been listening to crime podcasts!

Educational Philosophy

When it comes to teaching and learning, I believe it is about developing strong relationships that tap into students' passions and provide relevancy to students and allows them to make connections with the curriculum.
