Hello, I'm Lauren Powell! I am so excited to spend my first year teaching here at BSMS as a 7th grade Science and Social Studies teacher! I am originally from southwest Virginia and received my bachelors degree from Virginia Tech in 2018. After that, I went to the University of Georgia to obtain my masters degree and graduated in 2020. I now live in Villa Rica with my husband Ricky. We have one cat, Oliver, and one dog, Charlie, who I love to spend my free time with. I can't wait to meet all of you this year!
