CyberCamp at UWG for 9th-12th graders

Students entering grades 9-12 in the fall are invited to apply to participate in the University of West Georgia and Air Force Association (AFA) free UWG/AFA CyberCamp. CyberCamp will take place on the UWG campus July 23rd-27th, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.The camp is free to accepted participants, who must apply to the program by June 22.Only 25 will be selected to participate in the camp, so those interested are encouraged to apply now!

Developed by the AFA and sponsored by the College of Education's Fusion Center and Department of Educational Technology and Foundations, the UWG/AFA CyberCamp is targeted toward beginners in cybersecurity. No previous experience or training is required. The camp will emphasize fun, hands-on learning of cybersecurity principles that are relevant and applicable to everyday life. Each day of camp will cover new topics and activities, building up to a final team competition simulating real cybersecurity situations faced by industry professionals.
